A Joint Conference of the CSME, CFD Society of Canada and Canadian Society of Rheology CSR

On behalf of the Canadian Society for Mechanical Engineering (CSME), the CFD Society of Canada (CFDSC), and the Canadian Society of Rheology (CSR) we are delighted to announce a joint conference to be held on the campus of University of British Columbia (UBC), Vancouver (BC), May 24-27, 2025.

Abstract/Paper Submission

Abstracts (400 words) and papers (6 pages) are welcome. Papers first–authored by
students are eligible for student paper competitions.

The proceedings of the conference will be published on the cIRcle UBC. In addition, some selected papers will be invited to submit to special issues in the International Journal of Heat and Fluid Flow and the Transaction of the Canadian Society for Mechanical Engineering. All participants are encouraged to submit 6-pages papers by January 30th, 2026 to be considered for this excellent initiative

  • January 30, 2026 Abstract and paper submission
  • March 10, 2026: Notification of Acceptance to Authors
  • March 25, 2026: Deadline: Submission of final paper (where applicable)
  • April 1, 2026: Deadline:  Early bird registration
